AutoCAD 2002 can not open a DWG file that has been converted from an Inventor 2008 drawing to AutoCAD 2002 DWG format. Using both AutoCAD 2008 and Inventor 2008, these image drawings have been saved as an AutoCAD 2002 DWG file. Every time the converted image is opened in AutoCAD 2002 this error is displayed.
FATEL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0008 Exception at 33ed45c0h.
The Inventor files have also been saved to AutoCAD 2000 and AutoCAD R14 formats. Still AutoCAD 2002 can not open the file without the error displaying.

What do you think to open it  in AutoCAD 2008 and save in AutoCAD 2002.

Saving the inventer drawing as AutoCAD 2008, then saving it as AutoCAD2002 did not work.

Here is a suggestion I goe from another board.  What do you think of it?

Try this.  Don't use "save as" we have had problems the same way.Instead, open the file in Inventor (your main program), then on file tab on the main menu go down to the "Export file as AutoCAD 2002".  It should prefix the file name with "AUTO-".I don't have Inventor but this is how we do it in ABS (Architectural Building Systems).Give it a try and come back with the results.

Try to exports as DXF files or SAT.
