Welcome rorschachApparently it is a problem associated with .NET framework of Windows. Did you just install a new version of .NET Framework? What version of AutoCAD are you running?Try removing the .NET Framework versions starting with the latest version and working backwards until AutoCAD starts up properly. I recommend you reboot your system after each uninstall of .NETPlease let me know if this works for you?Good Luck!!

Answer can be found within this thread.  Read it all before doing anything.

And the person who asked the question did not pick up on it thus his reply "how I can fix?".  You can lead a horse to water but you can't rip his lips off.

I fully acknowledge the credit rightfully belongs to you.

Am I missing something here? He asked...then I answered, right? To be honest, I could care less about "credit". The point of writing the post as I did was to remove any confusion that the Autodesk post may have created by including all those version numbers. For instance, one of the original posts stated to remove .NET version 2.0. But if you do that before reading what someone else said later, then you would have uninstalled 2.0 for no reason, because the actual problem is "the latest version of .NET" (not .NET 2.0).Just sayin.

You're right. However, since your post did not link to the thread I think it obvious that the OP was still clueless based solely upon his reply. It's all in his hands now.  Want to go for a beer?
