Display full version of the post: viewport color

how can i change the backgroud color of the paperspace from grey to black ,i need it to look like model space thx.

As I recall...Options>>Colors is where you set MS & PS backgrounds, etc.Does AutoCAD still have built-in Help & search? :)

thanx i have found the help and the options but i didnt find the where the ms and ps colors , that s why am asking for help thx

From the menu, select:
Tools>>Options>>Display>>Colors

that is what i told u after the tools otpions display and colors where is the layout or paper space backgroud color, it seems that u didn t open the display and colors tab wich is in the options under the tools bar so your answer is not complet

OK so a little more detail...
after selecting "colors" from the Options menu...
 
In the left dialogue box column "context" you can select "2d model space" and "sheet/layout"; in second column "interface element" select "uniform background", then in third columen "color" select your desired color.

in the paper space there are 2 colors one is black wich is the limit of the paper and the athor is gray wich is the rest of the screen i need them both black there is no option for the gray color i want to change it to black , it is better to view the drawing on black backgroud thx.

you may have found this if you've been browsing through the "Options" menu - to get rid of the gray that is outside plot limits:
 
Menu;
Tools>>Options>>Display
Under "Layout Elements", clear the checkmark for "Display Paper background"
