Greetings my name is Joseph blaisdell i am very much new to the auto cad scene. i have auto cad 2013 at work that is downloaded on my computer. i am an NCCER pipe fitter instructor and performance evaluator at the new nuclear build in South Carolina. my question is this, how or where are the symbols for the pipe fittings like : RFWN flanges, Tees, 90's, things like that? i am getting the felling that i have to have something installed into auto cad that has them or is there another way to do it? any information is helpful. thanks!

There are NO pipe fittings that come standard as part of plain AutoCAD. There may be some in Plant 3D but I'm not 100% sure. You will however definitely find they are standard in a program called CADWorx which is an AutoCAD add-on.So, if you are going to continue to utilize AutoCAD then you have the following choices...1. Buy an add-on program.2. Buy an after-market fittings block library.3. Create your own fittings block library from scratch.

4. Go to the manufacturers website and see if they have a CAD Block library.
