Hi, I state that are at least 25 30 years since I use software cad and then the choice was not great (autocad). So I'm a complete novice.I need a software with which you can do the following thing:Starting with a complex figure 3d (such as a face) it could approximate it in few polyhedra (what interests me is that it is formed by sharp surfaces without round) and then let me divide it into portions to be printed in 3D to recreate it as big as I want .I hope I explained well and someone could give me an indication

Here's a graphic that covers different CAD programs available, organized by price and use-case among other things. Hope it helps!https://www.fictiv.com/resources/starter/cad-infographic

I checked out that link but I don't see where it would provide the information that the OP is seeking to acquire. Did I miss something?

viterete: Have you looked at Great Stella version 5.4? There is a demo available.Great Stella... is an advanced polyhedron program,
including tools such as stellation for creating an infinite variety of
amazing polyhedra. And you can still print all their nets. There is also a program called Stella4D that has all the 3D features from Great Stella, but also includes 4D
polytopes.

No need to thank me as all it took was a simple Internet search. It's not like I had to strain my brain to find something of relevance.
