Hello tariq, if you set each of your files with their correct and relative units ( DDUNITS ) you shouldn't have problems with any inserted or xref blocks even with different units. If a file is set with no or an incorect unit you will have to scale the block that you insert or xref in your file.

I'm trying to get one of my xrefs (dwg) to be smaller than 1,059 kb.  There are no aec's blocks, regular blocks, extra texts, filters or groupings.  It was drawn as if we were using acad 8 (we are using acad mep 14).  Is there someway/command to clean up/make smaller?

adam:It isn't good form to hijack a thread started by someone else on a subject totally different than your own.So you have done the following.....1. Run Overkill.2. Run -Purge > Regapps.3. Run -Purge > All.4. Audit (correct database errors).5. Checked to see if there are any Microstation linetypes in the drawing.6. Checked for a bloated scalelist?Yes?  No?  You don't know?

thank you for the info.  As you can tell this is the first time I have done one of these forums. I thought is was a forum for all xref questions. Again I'm sorry.  But saying, " Yes?  No?  You don't know?" was a lot more rude.
