I have an xl file inserted into an autocad file as an OLE object which I use together with it. Till now I have saved it before I close the autocad file and it is open when I open the cad file. Apparently last time I closed the autocad file I closed the xl file first and when I opened the cad file and reimported the xl file most of the information on the file was missing as if it had not been saved. I have no idea what I did wrong because there is no reason except for my own convenience to leave the xl file open in the cad file. Is there any way that I can recover the lost information as I can with a cad file.

Id have to say no. But im no expert in OLE objects.
