    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=165260">John Connor</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10248<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23.Apr.2014 at 23:52<br /><br />You said these were 3D drawings.&nbsp; How is it that you don't know whether or not you applied any materials either directly or via layers?&nbsp; Have you ever actually rendered a 3D drawing?<br><br>Is the CommCenter (a.k.a. - the InfoCenter) enabled?&nbsp; If so, disable it.<br><br>Code is "compiled"; drawings are not.<br><br>Is this more a problem with printing your drawings?&nbsp; Perhaps due to whether or not you spool your drawings?<br><br>Re: hardware related questions you can't answer should be put to someone in IT.<br><br>Sorry but I have to head out for supper.&nbsp; If I have a chance I'll check back later.<br><br><br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by John Connor - 24.Apr.2014 at 00:04</span>]]>

I use AutoCAD 3D 2014 and a typical file size is around 120,000 KB and it takes along time to compile a drawing and print or PDF the file. My Boss wants to find out why? So I thought I would ask those who might now the answer. Do I need a faster computer? Here are the spec's on this computer:<br>Windows 7 Professional - service pack 1<br>processor: Intel Xeon CPU E5420 @ 2.50GHz (2 processors)<br>RAM - 16.0 GB<br>System type - 64-bit Operating System<br>Display adapter - NVIDIA Quadro FX1800<br><br>Any advice would be great!<br><br>Slow as a turtle,<br>Brent<br>brent.atterton@smesteel.com<br>]]>
