You can use our GRP utility to get "quick" group commands in ACAD/ACADM. You are probably referring to the PKFSTGROUP command available in AutoCAD LT. In the full AutoCAD version there is only a more detailed version of this command - GROUP.

You can use its commandline version: -GROUP to prepare a menu macro with the required functionality.

Hi everyone,
 
I use AutoCAD 2007 and have not been able to use or find the command "Quick Group". I found this a very useful tool in previous versions and want to know if it is hidden somewhere in 2007 or has been discontinued for some reason. I do not want to always create a named block, sometimes i just want to group things together temporarily. Any suggestions??
