Hello all. I'm wondering if there is a utility out there that will allow you to search through drawing files using attribute text as the search criteria. To clarify, our company's drawings' bill of materials are a series of blocks with various attributes, and we need a utility/add-on for AutoCAD 2002 that will allow us to search by the text in those attributes and yield all results in a folder and all sub-folders with that criteria. We've done google searches for attribute extractor programs and such, and the main problem with that is that those programs will only allow you to extract attribute info from drawings on the folder level that you specify.
