Which way up?  The 300mm length should be in contact with the glulam arches shouldn't it?  How many?  As many as would be required given that they are positioned 600mm center-to-center.

Well then, what are you waiting for?  Start with laying out the centerlines of your eleven main arches then move on to laying out your purlin centerlines.  This should not take very long.

I guess we're doing this in 2D.  Start with the plan view of the roof.  Layout the arches and purlins.

Re: curved roof.  I am assuming this is a "barrel vault" roof.  Are you familiar with this type of construction?

I hope you are doing this in 3D then extracting the 2D views from the 3D model.

Thanks for replying,
The brief that we were given is exactly the same as I have put in my first post. I'm a first year civil engineering student so I only have basic knowledge, it should be better but I have had to learn how to use it myself as our lecturerer has no idea how to use it.

You have enough info to start, however:
"RC Rafter Slab"? Did you mean "Raft Slab"?
No plate supporting arch rafters?
No found. details?
I assume this is not a const. project, but rather an exercise?
