Since posting this, the issue appears to have sorted itself out?! Very strange, but very welcome.

Plot styles were the same, and yes John, you're correct, the architectural detail was originally created in Micro station and imported into Autocad.

So, in conclusion, the problem seems to be resolved (for now). Thanks for the help and advice people ;-)

It sounds like this could have something to do with it?

It was used in the old days when colour plotting was rare. It happened to me back in the old days of AutoCAD 98, but since that's 17 years ago now, don't remember more than this.

For some strange reason the overall line weight in drawing PBL0033-001 seems extremely bold and 'clumpy' compared to the detail in drawing VBN-V047-1159-ARC-DRG-280013 (even though they have the same set-up and are using the same template and title block etc).

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r3kiid8r0csn3oz/AADEvK-IXdNreqejcP7Mt8IIa?dl=0

The strange thing is, this problem has only just started on this particular version of drawings. The same drawings were plotted last week and were absolutely fine. I have also just plotted some test drawings for VBN-V047-1159-ARC-DRG-280013 and these are also absolutely fine, which makes me believe that it can't be a driver issue. There are 17 drawings that have been effected by this problem, and It's really got me baffled!

If anyone can shed any light, It would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
