    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=11132">ineke</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1173<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11.Oct.2008 at 12:34<br /><br />***Sometime people want to put a bitmap (an image, a text document or an Excel spreadsheet) in the middle of their drawing, next to their CAD diagram.<BR>These documents are linked to the CAD drawing; on the screen, they look like one. <BR>In that case, they are OLE objects. <BR>OLE = Object Linking and Embedding.<BR><BR>Many CAD - even AutoCAD - have/had a lot of problems in printing mixed documents (OLE objects+vectors), as bitmaps and vectors use different languages.<DIV>This is because the AutoCAD print driver can only print the AutoCAD diagram - it cannot print the Excel spreadsheet because it does not work /worked&nbsp;with Excel.<BR><BR>Do you experience this problem with all mixed files?<BR>If yes, you need a printer driver that can interpret and print OLE objects from inside CAD files.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV><a href="http://www.plotterdriver.it" target="_blank">www.plotterdriver.it</A><!--stopindex--></DIV>]]>

I did have it on Defpoints layer.<br /><br />I was able to get the spreadsheet to plot by right-clicking the spreadsheet in the CAD drawing and setting the OLE plot quality to High Quality Photograph. <img src="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />  <img src="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> ]]>

Maybe the OLE object (the spreadsheet pasted into autocad ctrl+v is OLE) is in the not printed layer?<br>Or you can paste a spreadsheet as autocad entities (edit-&gt;paste as... or something like that), this way you make an autocad table, not OLE.<br>]]>
