I have been trying to generate conical plate sections with bent flanges so that I can give the client a Flat Pattern of the Plates.
Modelling it is not a problem o show him what it looks like, but I cannot get Inventor to give me a Flat Pattern. I first tried on 2013, and now on 2017. I have not had a lot of Sheet Metal Experience, which doesn't help.
I appreciate that with a cone, everything converges to the apex point, and I think this is one of the problems I am dealing with.
Any help would be appreciated. I don't know how to attach the basic assembly I have done, to give an adea of what I need, but I am happy to email it to whoever can help.
Regards,
