If you don't want the door swings to show up in the viewport that will be used to show the reflected ceiling plan you can freeze the layer they are on in that viewport unless of course you drew everything on one layer like most newbies do then overrode the color property so visually it looked like different objects were on different layers.  Is that what you did?

I'm trying to meet a learning curve, and by your question, I am realizing how unknowledgeable I am here.
This is what I was trying to do.
 
I have a sheet drawing (Enlarge Plans) of pubic women's and men's restroom and ideally I would like to show everything that will be happening, regarding the ceiling, power and finish floor plan, on this one sheet. 
 
I'm finding it impossible, because of my display drawing status in paper space is set to plan (also called work), and because of it my viewports dedicated to reflected ceiling plan show door swings. 
 
I was thinking there wasn't a way around this. And I would just need split up my ceiling plans from the others.

You do realize you can prevent certain layers from showing up in one viewport and yet have the same layers show up in another right?

And you do realize each viewport can utilize a different visual style right?

So what's the problem?

I don’t think it is even possible to customize a work displaysetting in individual  view ports (in paper space)?

The idea would be to have more than one viewport in paperspace and one could be designated for reflected ceiling another power communicationand so forth, but from my investigation it appears not possible as for eachdrawing in CAD is designated a display setting, (i.e. Work, Reflected, etc.) And that is the system it currently works from.

Am I correct on this?
