Thanks guys, Vladimir had the right answer. You can't give a thickness to a spline it must be converted.

No, SPLINE has no thickness. I personally have never used the civil version of Autocad, but if it is like Autocad Architecture 2009 then you you can change the line thickness by changing the layer. Civil 3D 2008 I am working with a file I inhirted from another company. I had to change some linetypes and spline a line. There is a plain line with a thickness and linetype and there is a spline on the same layer which I am unable to give a thickness. The previous post talked about thickness but when I click on the spline there is no thickness available. How can I can the thickness of the spline to match the plain line. I have tried any number of think like match properties, splinedit, etc. but nothing works.
