From the those control points a general total station was used. So, when the fieldbook is imported i would think the work is mimiced to produce the same coordinates. i am a little confused b/c this never has been problem using Land Desktop 2005. Civil3D is by far a superior software.

I am still wondering what the problem is.

Are you using a company drawing template where the coordinate system is already selected? Sounds like when your importing into Civil 3D that the Global coordinate system for your area has not been selected. that sounds like that could be your problem.
