You cannot. Older versions are usually not sold anymore. I plan on calling Autodesk like you suggested, as I'm not holding my breath that this is legitimate.
 
Do you have any suggestions as to where I can purchase older versions of Inventor safely?

I would check with Autodesk first to see if that can legally be done before bidding on the software.

Saw this on Ebay and was curious if anyone knew for sure if this was a scam.  The price was decent but didn't seem too good to be true so hopefully it's legit.  Definitely not as suspicious as the OEM websites that allow you to download a copy for $30.  Wink
