I just bought a logitech mx revolution mouse and for some reason the middle scroll wheel will not support the pan feature in autocad when I press down on it. I'm not even sure the wheel is clickable. It zooms fine.

So I want to set the thumb wheel on the mouse for pan which I've assigned to the F12 key in the mouse control software for. Now I need to set the pan keystroke on my keyboard for F12 but autocad 2009 will not let me do that.

I am in the CUI and right clicking  on keyboard which brings up a temporary override option. When I try to drag and drop the pan feature up from the bottom window autocad will not let me drag into the upper window panel.
