However, I found tricky workaround. <br>When I create new material I save it into that special xml file. Then, when creating new part I import that xml file in Styles Formatting dialog which makes the material available in materials list on File \ Properties dialog.<br>]]>

In Inventor 2010 all of the commands are on the Manage tab on the Styles and Standards tab. To have it stored in file and be able to select it any time for any .ipt file.
