    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=67971">KobusErasmus</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2507<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14.Oct.2009 at 18:29<br /><br />There is normally only one solution here - hardware upgrade.&nbsp; Generally if your file is this big, you have a lot of detail, stuff like fillets, chamfers, bolts, nuts, washers, etc.&nbsp; You have to decide which of these you want to show and which can be dumped.&nbsp; The more surface there are, the bigger the file, the longer the crunch time for a render.....the more performance is required from your pc.&nbsp; I use a 4 gig ram machine, 256 mb Nvidia graphics card, 2.8 ghz cpu, and on a&nbsp; file 50mb and larger it still takes a long time to render.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Also things like surface textures, lighting and materials make the render heavier.</DIV>]]>
