Hey Ferna,

A good way of doing what you want is to set up a new dim style (eg. for metric), make the new dim style current, then type dim enter, up enter, then select the entire drawing and hit enter. This command will update all of the dimensions to the selected dim style.

Hi everyone
I think you should edit your dimension style. By setting the right Scale Factor in the Primary Units tab, you should get the right dim as desired.
As you know 1 inch= 25,4 mm so you now can set the right scale factor

TXS for your feedback Krish, it could be a temp. solution but it  is not the right one, I was thinking that DIM. command had the variable option to choose if I want to keep the alternate Dim. or the Primary Dim. other than create a new style or Edit.

it's me again...with another bizarre solution i guess

give the command "ED" then click on the dim text...you can edit the dimension as per your need....

Normally in my job I have primary Units (Imperial) and Alternate Units (Metric), I need to know how can I get rid of the Primary Units (Imperial) sometimes and work just with Alternate Units(Metric) without explode the Dim. and delete the Primary Unit which I think is very improper.

Really appreciate your help on this.
