yes - if i re-create the area with a new polyline and move it away i can hatch the new area.. can you create a polyline round the area to be hatched, move the polyline away from the main drawing, hatch inside the polyline  then move it back to where it should be

i am just finishing off a drwing with some hatching and have come up agaist a problem. When i select the area i want to hatch i get a box come up saying "Do you really want to do this?" I can only select no and as a result can't hatch. i have tried different hatches, tried hatching different area etc but to no avail. hatching has worked fine on previous drawings and still does - just one drawing file seems to be affected.
