Maybe the box has a z value not equal to 0 (or your current "elevation" setting); when you draw from "mid" that endpoint will take on the box's z value but the other endpoint will be different.</P>]]>

I'll try to explain it better. when in plan view I will draw lets say a box in 2D 12"x12", and then I want to draw a line&nbsp;on the bottom mid point 6" and hit enter, you can hardly see the line. Now when you look at the box from the right the box should look like one line and it does exept for the line in the middle it goes down at like a 45 deg angle.&nbsp;<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>thank you for any help.</DIV>]]>
