Some people are curious about signing up for our Customer Involvement Program(CIP). They wonder what we do with the CIP data that we collect. Typically, we look at aggregated data for trends, to help understand how customers are using our products. Since we collect this data already, wouldn't it be cool if you too could benefit from it? That's the intent of the Community Commands for AutoCAD plug-in.

Free download of CommunityCommands for AutoCAD via Autodesk Labs

The plug-in allows your copy of AutoCAD to communicate with our collection of aggregated CIP data. As you use AutoCAD, recommendations are generated for commands that other users like you have used, but you haven’t. These recommendations don't come from us - they come from the community of AutoCAD users around the globe based on their day to day usage patterns. So come aboard and leverage the power of the community. We don't bite. Let us know what new commands you discover via this process at labs.acad.commcmd@autodesk.com. Your responses will be kept confidential in case you admit to learning something you should have known.

Allowing users to help other users without even trying is alive in the lab.
