(with wipthread 0 and 3)<br><br>My file is a standard 2D drawing, without xrefs.<br><br>I have a ATI 9800 Pro graphics card with 512 MB of RAM. Okay, I know, its not a CAD - card, but I think, the graphics card is fast enough. Zoom an PAN going good.<br><br>What is your experience? What is the load of your CPU?<br>What for a acad-Version do you have?<br>]]>

After opening file, I have 200 MB free memory.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>The value of Variable WHIPTHREAD is 3.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>Now when I switch to layout 1 it remains 2:35 min.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>I set the variable WHIPTHREAD to 0 (zero) an close acad complete.</FONT></DIV><DIV><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>Then I started acad again, opening the same file and switch to the same layout 1.
