In other words, should the base point always be stable and the&nbsp;whole block moved relative to the base point and then only stretch the block away from the base-point and only from the end opposite of the base-point.&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Does there seem to be a intrinsic problem with dynamic blocks?&nbsp; Is anyone out there having a similar problem?&nbsp; Otherwise, whats the purpose of using them if only to explode and rehatch when the problem pops up?</DIV>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=107410">Tedcad</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3499<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 01.Apr.2010 at 18:40<br /><br />Howdy, new to the forum.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>We have dynamic blocks created by our now gone cad guru that we are having problems.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>1) can insert these blocks and all is fine.&nbsp; Upon returning to the drawing, or opening a drawing sheet with the details in which the d-block is a component, the draw order&nbsp;is&nbsp;out of wack and&nbsp;only&nbsp;parts&nbsp;of&nbsp;the d-block can be seen.&nbsp; I can&nbsp;go thru the entire detail fixing draw order via block editor and all looks fine.&nbsp;&nbsp;Upon returning to the drawing, the draw order may be as last saved, or the block may be behind itself.</DIV><DIV>2) Upon blocking editing to fix above draw order issue, after saving the changes, the hatching is now outside the parameters of the dynamic block.&nbsp; Stretching the d-block will push the hatch back inside the block.</DIV><DIV>3) sometimes after fixing only one of the blocks&nbsp;with the&nbsp;draw order&nbsp;issue, then all the rest fix automatically.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Thanks for your help.</DIV>]]>
