I think I have a good knowledge of Autocad, however recently I was given completely different job than I used to do - drainage. So there are many levels all around the place and they keep repeating thro series of drawings on plans and sections. As I realized in our drawings these levels are just text.

Is there a way to have these levels as some kind of data so that if certain level is changed on one place, it would be changed throughout all drawings or at least thro one drawing?

One way surely would be to create a block and name it lets say manhole number + invert/cover level. I know about linking data to external excel sheet, however that is good just for tables, not cells.

Hopefully I'm not asking impossible and you will save me days of work :)

Thank you
