Nice! I tried to use the rotate command and also tried to change the text angle in text properties, neither worked.  Also, when I try to covert to a pdf. the text shows up running verticle even though it is horizontal in auto cad format.

Hard to say without knowing more information..
-how did you try to rotate it, by clicking on with mouse and dragging?
-2 way I know of offhand are the "rotate" command, and the "properties" manager, where you'd edit the text angle.

How do you rotate text in AutoCad 2010?
