Just in case anyone was having the same issue's as myself I found this list of advantages for using Integration Components. It doesn't help me with the video card issue but does seem to be a step in the right direction.
Integration Components are included & enabled by default in XP Mode.
 
 
 
The Integration Components package provides the following advantages:

Mouse integration - you can move your mouse seamlessly between the desktop of your host operating system and the guest. Once you install Integration Components you cannot disable this feature.

Time synchronization - it automatically synchronizes the time of the guest operating system with that of the host. This feature cannot be disabled.

Audio integration - this redirects the audio input & output for the virtual machine to the audio devices on the host. This feature can be disabled.

Clipboard integration - it allows you to copy & paste data between the host and guest operating systems. This feature can be disabled.

Hard drives integration - this feature allows users to select which drives from the host operating system are available for access in the guest operating system. This feature can be disabled.

Printers integration - it allows users to share printers between the host and guest operating systems. To use this feature you will also need to install the appropriate printer drivers in both operating systems. This feature can be disabled.

USB devices integration - USB memory sticks, card readers, photo camers, etc are automatically shared with the virtual machine. This feature can be disabled

I don't have the option of updating CAD at this time...does anyone know of a way to use the Quadro card? I have heard of Virtual PC Integration Components. Would this allow VPC to see the video card?

There is only limited support for video acceleration in virtual machines. I would recommend about 1.5-2GB RAM for the virtualized ACAD 2009.
 
A more effective way is an upgrade to a 64-bit version of AutoCAD 2011 or 2010.

I have a system running Windows 7 64bit OS that I had to install Virtual PC on in order to run ACAD 2009 in Windows XP Mode. Is there a way to get the Virtual PC to "see" my Quadro video card? Also could anyone tell me the optimum RAM setting for Virtual PC running XP Mode.
