Or, you can press & hold the Shift Key while pressing and holding your mouse wheel. This will allow you to move your mouse around and give you the dynamic view that you want. This way you're not stuck with the standard views provided by the program.

'Isometric drawing'?
Your either drawing in 2D or 3.
'Isometric' simply implies the viewing angle.
You can rotate in 3D, a 2D block using the '3drotate' command.
