try 3rd party software like normica view pro. with it you can define colors and way more. trial version at www.normic.com

Set your Plot Style Table to monochrome if you want ALL BLACK, or set it to Grayscale if you want BLACK with some shaded layers.

what is the procedure for plotting in black when there are multiple layers in colors ? When I try to plot from a layout all I can get is either a plot in color or in grayscale .
