John,

Thanks a million, that solved that it.                                                     Maybe you could help me with another problem.                                   Same scenario, only I was taught to draw in model space and plot in paper space (which is where my title block is). I will TRY to to see if I can insert my title block onto my drawing in model space. I didn't really need a title block on the last drawing but, I will on future drawings. If you have a solution for this could you please try to help me with it also.

I would use 1/240XP.  If the scale was 1"=10' I'd use 1/120XP.  Both of these assume your model space drawing unit is set to one inch. 

Enable your Viewports toolbar and pick you scale from the drop-down list provided.

I am trying to scale a drawing to 1"=20'. The factor that I was given is .004166 XP ENTER. Can you please tell me the correct factor and how to obtain it, I am having the same problem with my other scales also. My program is CAD LT 2006.
