Looks like lineweight was the issue. When I still zoom into the pdf you can see the solid circles at the vertices but when printed out they are not noticable. Thanks for the help.

Try setting weight to "Default" in the layer manager.

Check for their width or lineweights.

I found out that these lines have multiple vertices on top of each other. Is this whats causing the publishing problems?
