Open Autocad 2012 by clicking on the desktop icon. Once the program is open, Go to the "File" menu and choose "Open", then browse for a drawing. Once you open a drawing with 2012 it will become the default. Hi, I currently have 3 versions of AutoCAD on my PC - the latest being 2012.  Whenever i open a new dwg it automatically opens in 2010.  Can anyone tell me the how to change the default?
