    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=175428">philippe JOSEPH</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6885<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14.Nov.2011 at 15:07<br /><br />Yes you can and I have some experience in the convertion from SLD to DWG and from DWG to SLD.<DIV></DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>From SLDDRW 2D to DWG 2D it's just a "save as" XXXXXX.dwg ( you choose the DWG file type in a list ).</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>From SLDPRT and SLDASM 3D&nbsp;to DWG 3D you should do a&nbsp;"save as" XXXXXX.sat with the option release 7.0 ( recommended ) then in AutoCAD you have to "import" the&nbsp;XXXXX.sat in a new file.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>It is possible to reuse a DWG file to create a "sketch" in SLD :</DIV><DIV>In SLD, file, open ( choose XXX.dwg in a list ), choose the option create a new SLDRW + import in a new part.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>From DWG 3D&nbsp;to SLD it's also possible directly by an "open" XXXXXX.dwg ( you have to choose XXXXXX.dwg ) in a list.</DIV><DIV>For a good transfer, save your file to be transfered and :</DIV><DIV>Explode the blocks ( but not the volumes )</DIV><DIV>Erase the useless lines ( no simple lines or texts will be transfered ).</DIV><DIV>I recommend to rotate the objects by 90° two times&nbsp;( as for more information about this ) so that in SLD the objects will be uptight like in your DWG file.</DIV><DIV>Save your file as a SLDPRT file so that you don't carry "SLD" XREF files.</DIV><DIV>Then and only then you can erase all the SLD files automaticaly created by SLD.</DIV><DIV>If you want to transfer texts I have done a DWG file "ABCD.dwg" of 3D texts and numbers for them to be transeferd to SLD.</DIV><DIV>Ask for more.......</DIV>]]>
