    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=35918">heinsite</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 7193<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18.Jan.2012 at 20:09<br /><br />PICKFIRST only controls whether you can select objects before (noun-verb selection) or after issuing a command.&nbsp; It won't have any effect on objects disappearing or not with new selections.&nbsp; That's handled by PICKADD. <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>A PICKADD setting of "0" requires holding the SHIFT key&nbsp;down to add additional items.&nbsp; A setting of "1"&nbsp;&nbsp;will add new selections to the selection set.&nbsp; With "1", holding down the SHIFT key will remove objects or selections.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>AutoCAD 2011 added setting "2", and it&nbsp;works just like "1" except&nbsp;that when using the ._Select command, the entities <I>remain selected</I> when the command is over. Previously when you used the ._Select command then executed a command, you had to use _P to refer to the previous selection set. (finally updated from R14)<div>I recently imported an IGES file and now my commands are all wonky.</div><div>If I try to erase multiple lines/circles etc, it'll only do one at a time. Pick on one, go to pick on the next and the last one loses it's highlight and won't erase.</div><div>Trying to trim; if you pick on one line as a border, the next one you pick cancells the last....</div><div>Seems to be doing it on a bunch of commands in a similar fashion. </div><div>What did I do????
