Have you checked out the lisp routines available here?

Have you checked over at the Cadalyst magazine website under Tips, Tools & Training > CAD Tips?  There are literally hundreds of free lisp routines available for downloading.

Can anyone give me a lisp program that will specify the distance (length) of a selected line with centimeter accuracy and position the text (lenght of the line, height of the text 0.75) at the midpoint of the line, parallel to the line.
I hope someone can solve my problem.
