For example, I use a block to form the outline and drawing detail part of the drawing in model space. This includes the drawn date, which was April 2002 when it was made many moons ago. Is it possible to have this upate to the current month, with it selecting the month at the time of insertion and then not changing? Failing that can it reference a cell in a spreadsheet??

Cheers
