    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=175428">philippe JOSEPH</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8353<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10.Sep.2012 at 14:32<br /><br />Hello, if I understand your needs, you want to flatten all the objects of a 3D file so that you can use them in a 2D file.<DIV>It's possible if you do the following sequence :</DIV><DIV>Move the objects, choose "all", from point : 0,0 to 0,0,1E99.</DIV><DIV>Then :</DIV><DIV>Move the objects, choose "all" , from point : 0,0,1E99 to 0,0,0.</DIV><DIV>beware of doing it with a general UCS.</DIV><DIV>Take a 3D point of view other than the standard plan view ( left for example )&nbsp;to check if all is OK.</DIV><DIV>This won't flatten the objects in a bloc or in an Xref.</DIV><DIV>It's also possible to move objects to Z:0 in the properties pannel&nbsp; (Ctrl+1 ) but only by families of object ( not OK with lines and arcs ).</DIV><DIV>Ask for more, tell us if this has solved your problems.</DIV><DIV>Are you familiar with a 3D work on AutoCAD ?</DIV>]]>
