When selecting components, you can set the scale factor at that time. Then it will work to your paper space.
or

Scale the drawing such that the rectangle that is drawn to represent the sub panel fits the drawing borders.

Not exactly sure yet. I purchased the "Autocad Electrical 2012 for Electrical control designers" written by Sham Tickoo of Purdue University. It is an excellant book. But it doesn't cover some particulars like this!

Thanks for you repsonce, in a short time ( I hope) I will post the correct methodology for drawing/object scaling in Acad Electrical.

Kind Regards,

Not very experienced with Cad.

I understand most of the basics in this package, but I can't seem to find information regarding the model space and the paper space.

EX:. I have a border/title block template (ACAD default) that I am using. When I place an object from "Instert from Schematic List ". The object is full scale or close to it. I either have to draw to full scale and use a viewport to place it in the paper space , or scale the components. either way I am lost. Any help with this would be appreciated.
