11x8?  Isn't that an imperial units?  Why would you make a drawing in imperial units using a metric template?  Sounds like you need to scale it.

Text and dimensions can go in model space or paper space the choice is yours.  If you are going to put them in model space then you might want to consider using annotative scaling.  If you are going to put your text in paper space just use real world heights.  As for dimensions in paper space just make sure your dimensions are "associative" and again use real world heights.

Hi all,
 
Made a title template in drawing acadisoof 11x8, saved it to my file, when i try to insert it to layout it appears very small, what am i doing wrong please? Many thanks to anyone who can help.
 
And is it best to add all text in model space or can this be added in layout prior to printing
