Also playing around with the Wblocks, if your block has more than one layer to it, when transfered to another file all those layers come with it to. I don't know if you already knew this but I thought it was interesting.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=175428">philippe JOSEPH</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8695<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05.Dec.2012 at 07:29<br /><br />Hello jhuerta, you can use blocks inside a file or copy/paste that bloc to an other file. <DIV>If you create a Wblock, then you will create an other file just for that block.</DIV><DIV>It's not a problem using "simple" blocks instead of Wblocks.</DIV><DIV>The problem of "simple" blocks is when you use them in different files and you want to update an existing block inside two different files; then you will have to explode a copy of the block to be copy/paste inside the other file and re-define it with the same name, insertion point, rotation, scale.</DIV><DIV>You can also use Xref blocks ( ask for more if needed ).</DIV><DIV>Tell us more of your blocks use test...</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>P.S. I'm new to AutoCAD 2012 ( from 2008 ).
