We use a product called Creform to produce carts, racks, stands.........basicly it is an erector set for adults. All kinds of various fittings with vinyl covered pipe form whatever it is you need.

When using it, if you want a length to be 36" long the pipe would be 31.750" because each fitting adds 2.125 to the length. Typically you would have a fittinfg at each end so 36"- 2.125 and 2.125 = 31.750". I would cut the pipe at 31.750, add the fitting at each end and end up with 36"OA.

I put together an Excel spread sheet that does the math for you but thought it would be cool if, when making a ACAD drawing of the fixture needed it just dim. the right pipe length from the gitgo. How do I make it dim. 4.250" off of the true length??

Thanks,
