    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=327424">firbal</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8733<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14.Dec.2012 at 05:05<br /><br />John, thank you for the instructions. &nbsp;My aCAD experience is rusty, to say the least. &nbsp;Recently I purchased aCAD LT 2013 for Mac and the last version I used was&nbsp;aCAD&nbsp;2009. &nbsp;Templates were in place and I never dealt with "starting from scratch;" &nbsp;the company I worked for considered it CAD tech security. &nbsp;I literally raised a white flag from my desk (I worked in a bay of 50+ people), a tech would approach and solve my problem. &nbsp;I never had the opportunity to really learn/deal with aCAD; basically I was a drafter. &nbsp;<div><br></div><div>With aCAD LT 2013 I will be asking a lot of questions till I get control of it. &nbsp;I have viewed a number of YouTube videos regarding aCAD LT. &nbsp;I am grateful to Autodesk help, and I thank you for supporting me. &nbsp; &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>My question: &nbsp;In page set up I am unsure of what the choices in "what to print:" will do, i.e. Display, Extents, Window, Layout. &nbsp;I guess I could experiment; I haven't tried.<div><br></div><div>Why didn't a manual for aCAD LT 2013 for Mac come with the program I purchased from Autodesk? &nbsp;Can you recommend a manual/text covering aCAD LT 2013 for Mac?</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,&nbsp;</div><div>Shelley &nbsp;</div></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=165260">John Connor</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 8733<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13.Dec.2012 at 11:29<br /><br />First you have to right-click on your Layout tab and then click on the Page Setup Manager.&nbsp; This is where you will select your printer/plotter and the paper size.<br><br>What do you know about Viewports?<br><br>I think you have a lot to learn.&nbsp; That grey box in your Layout is the default page setup.&nbsp; The dashed line represents the limits to which AutoCAD will print.&nbsp; Anything on or outside of the line will NOT print.&nbsp; The solid rectangle is a viewport.&nbsp; A viewport is a window that allows us to see the objects we created back in model space.<br><br>Layout elements, such as the paper background and shadow, can be changed via the Options dialog box &gt; Display tab &gt; Layout elements found in the lower left-hand corner.<br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by John Connor - 13.Dec.2012 at 11:57</span>]]>
