You can "shrink" the drawing using the SCALE command.

I've downloaded and am beginning to learn the ropes with DraftSight. So far so good but I've struck a problem with taking measurements off an imported drawing.

The imported drawing is an architectural plan provided as a single object. My main interest at the moment is to use the GETDISTANCE command to take measurements off the drawing.

This works fine but the distance displayed is exactly double the actual scale of the drawing. Would anyone know either how I might shrink the drawing object by half or adjust the GETDISTANCE scale so that I can eliminate the step of having to divide the measured result by 2 every time?
