Hello everybody, thanks for your replies even if I had declared my question in Inventor instead of AutoCAD ( I don't know how I've done this and I suppose that I have to thank Vladimir for having re-declared it correctly ).
Ø ( ? ) versus ∅ ( \U+2205 or Alt+0248 ), I still have the problem but I still can copy/paste Ø from an old file.
I have tried Alt+XXX up to Alt+520 ( I will try Alt+0XXX to see what's happening ).

It doesn't matter, Joe: you can get the diameter symbol in DTEXT too.

The code %%c is just the right way to enter the diameter symbol. You can also use \U+2205 to enter the Unicode "empty set" character (similar to diameter). Or you can use the Alt combination to enter "O-slash" character in your current codepage. But the respective Alt combination (numbers) will vary depending on your current Windows codepage and the keyboard layout you are switched to. Hello everybody.
We have just move from AutoCAD 2008 32 bits to AutoCAD 2012 64 bits and I have lost my Ø ( Alt+157 ).
Now when I type Alt+157 I get ÂĄ  and not Ø.
I still have the possibility to have ∅ with %%c but I don't like it.
I still have the possibility to copy/paste Ø from an old file but it makes me thinking that it still must be available directly, but where ?
