    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=165260">John Connor</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9485<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 08.Aug.2013 at 17:33<br /><br />Standard.dwt is the default.&nbsp; Most likely it is set up to use decimal inches as the default units.<br><br>Standardiso.dwt is probably for users of metric units.<br><br>Four look to be based on different international standards: standardjis, standardansi, standardbsi, and standarddin.<br><br>As for standardgb and standardgost I couldn't tell you.<br><br>Open each one up and see if you can notice any obvious differences.&nbsp; <br><br>OK...standardjis.dwt adheres to the Japanese Industrial Standards.<br><br>Standarddin.dwt adheres to German standards.&nbsp; <b>Deutsches Institut fĂĽr Normung</b>", meaning "German institute for standardisation."<br><br>Standardansi.dwt adheres to the American National Standards Institute guidelines.<br><br>Standardbsi.dwt adheres to the British Standards Institute guidelines.<br><br>Is that enough information for you?<br><br>BTW, you are aware that you can create your own template and populate it with the layers, text/dimension styles, linetypes, etc. that you want right?&nbsp; You can also set up a sheet with your own title block and border to be part of the template.<br><br>Since your profile lists your location as United States then unless you or your company does international work I'd stick with the default template.<br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by John Connor - 08.Aug.2013 at 18:32</span>]]>
