    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.cadforum.cz/forum_en/member_profile.asp?PF=165260">John Connor</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9642<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16.Sep.2013 at 11:41<br /><br />If you do not see your whole drawing while working in model space do a Zoom &gt; All or a Zoom &gt; Extents.&nbsp; Now do you see the whole drawing?<br><br>Purging a drawing eliminates unreferenced objects such as linetypes, multileaders, layers, etc.&nbsp; To do this one must use the PURGE command.&nbsp; There are two versions of the command.&nbsp; The first is PURGE and it will bring up a dialog box.&nbsp; The second is the command line version -PURGE (notice the dash?).&nbsp; I recommend using the second version and first purging REGAPPS.&nbsp; Then repeat the command and do a Purge &gt; All.<br><br>Audit is a command used to check the drawing database for errors.&nbsp; This is usually run after one has purged a drawing.<br><br>It seems there is a whole lot about AutoCAD that you do not know.&nbsp; Is there a CAD Manager?<br><br>If you are not seeing a dialog box when it comes to saving your drawing then maybe the system variable FILEDIA has been set to "0" instead of "1".&nbsp; I would check if I were you.&nbsp; Type FILEDIA at the command line and AutoCAD will report what the setting is.&nbsp; Change it if necessary.<br><br>Is there any chance you are working in a paper space layout using viewports?<br><br>If all else fails you may have to run the REPAIR option.<br>]]>
