Find out what file formats Inventor can both open and import.  Then find out what file formats Solidworks can save to and export.  Compare the lists and you'll have your answer.  If you can use a computer to get to this website you can also use it to come up with the answer to your question.  All it takes is a couple of minutes of your time.  Easy.
